Our Mission
Providing you with excellence for over 25 yearsIt all started in 1996, when Randy Kwilinski started Rain Drain Seamless Guttering in his parents’ pole barn just outside of Middlebury, Indiana. With just a single machine, a dedication to quality service, and insight enough to see that a need was not being met, Randy’s business quickly gained a solid reputation.
It didn’t take long for word to get around that Randy offered reliable, on-time service, the best quality available, and affordable prices. Randy had always had a keen eye for quality and innovation, and he knew Rain Drain would deliver on both fronts.
Here in Northern Indiana, the fall foliage is especially beautiful—but there’s a downside to all that natural beauty. Traditional gutters tend to get filled with leaves, saplings, and even the occasional squirrel.
As time went on, growth came quickly, and Randy installed a new facility on his newly-purchased six acres of land on State Road 15 in Goshen. Today, Rain Drain serves all of Michigan and Northern Indiana with 18 employees, 11 trucks and six machines and Randy and his team are able to handle the growing volume while still delivering personal service to each of his customers.
Soon, Randy saw another need that had to be filled. Most providers were very limited in scope, but guttering is often done in conjunction with roofing, siding, and window projects. Customers often needed to bring in two or three different companies to service the entire project. The need to add roofing, siding, and windows quickly became apparent, and today, Rain Drain has a certified roofing crew that can handle every need.
In addition, Rain Drain’s vendor relationships has delivered more choices to Randy’s customers, who can choose between traditional asphalt roofing, the durable standing seam steel, and stone coated steel options. A full complement of vinyl siding, soffit and fascia options make it complete, and Rain Drain became a one-stop shop for all exterior needs.
Since 1996, Rain Drain has grown from that one-man operation in Randy’s parents’ pole barn, to an 18-person family operation (20, if you count Randy’s two friendly Weimaraners, Rigley and Riley). We have a great crew dedicated to serving you!
